Dr. Yosuke Seki of Japan

Dr. Seki was accepted at the Flinders Medical Center, University of South Australia for a clinical training on Morbid Obesity under the guidance of Prof. Jim Toouli. 

Dr. Gia Tomadze of Georgia

Dr. Tomadze is attending a course at the Geneva University Hospital (Switzerland) to study technical aspects of liver transplantation.

Dr. Taizen Urahashi of Japan

Dr. Urahashi has been accepted at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center (USA) to broad his study on Liver Transplant Surgery.

Dr. Luciano Delgado Plasencia of Spain

Dr. Plasencia spent three months in the Department of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery at the Vrije Universiteit Medish Centrum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, under the guidance of Dr. Miguel A. Cuesta 

Dr. Joji Sekine of Japan

Dr. Sekine was accepted at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Umea University in Sweden in the academic year of 2006-07 

2005 Recipients

Dr. Neeti Kapur of India

Dr. Kapur attended the Memorial Sloans Kettering Cancer Centre in New York as an observant in the Hepatobiliary Division under Prof. Lesli Blumgart. 

Dr. Avinah Katara of India

Dr. Katara attended the National University Hospital in Singapore to further his studies on Minimally Invasive surgery under the guidance of  Dr. Davide Lomanto 

Dr. Sanjay Mongia of India

Dr. Mongia was accepted in the Dept. of Stereotactic and Radiation Neurosurgery at the  Hospital Na  Homolce in Prague, Czech Republic under Dr. Roman Liscak
