HOW DO I LOGIN TO MEMBERS ONLY?

To login to the Member Only section of the website, you need to know two things:

  1. Your email address on-file with the College
  2. Your unique access password to login

If you do not know your email on-file, please send an email to our website assistance team for more help. They can locate you online and assist you to access the Member Only section of our website. You may be asked to provide contact information, mailing address, or phone number to confirm your identity in our membership database.

HOW DO PAY MY DUES?

Paying the invoice is simple, and we offer two primary methods of payment to all direct-billed members:

  1. Online, via the International College of Surgeons website either via credit card or electronic check
  2. By mail, by printing the PDF invoice and including the payment slip with your check

While payment via postal mail is acceptable, we encourage our members to pay online so they can save their payment details securely for future renewals. All data is stored in a fully PCI-DSS compliant manner with our credit card processing partner, Authorize.net. To make a payment online, you need only:

  1. Login to icsglobal.org using your email address and password
  2. Click Member Home in the upper-right corner of the screen
  3. Click Billing along the left-hand side of the screen
  4. Any unpaid invoices will show a "Pay" button next to them on the list, simply click Pay to make a payment on that invoice
  5. Choose either a Credit Card or Check payment, and enter your account details in the provided fields
  6. Click Make Payment to complete the transaction

Once payment is complete, you will receive an email with an updated invoice that marks your order paid-in-full. Keep this for your records and for any potential tax purposes in your local region. HOW DO I CHECK MY APPLICATION STATUS?

Once your application has been submitted, your CV and references provided, and your payment for the application fee has been paid-in-full, there is a 6-8 week waiting period before the membership committees or the local section leadership will complete their review of your application. Completing your application in a timely manner will ensure prompt review and response by those tasked with reviewing new applications.

There is not currently a detailed application status page, but by logging in to the site you can see a rough process on any next-steps or additional information we require for your membership application to process successfully. HOW DO I SUBMIT FOR PUBLICATION?

The journal, International Surgery, accepts submissions from members of the College as well as professionals in the fields of surgery or surgical sciences from around the world. WHAT IF I FORGOT MY PASSWORD?

Sometimes users lose or forget their login passwords to the website, but there is a very simple process to reset your password. Simply click the button below and enter your email address to generate a password reset link. You will receive an email from the College shortly with a link to reset your password. When it arrives:

  1. Click the link in the email from the International College of Surgeons to reset your password
  2. Enter a new, strong password that you will remember into the box
  3. Re-enter the password in the second box to confirm you have typed it correctly
  4. Click Save to set your new password

Your password is now successfully changed. Be sure to write down or save your password somewhere safe, and if you ever lose or forget your password you can always reset it again following these instructions. HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

To change your password to one you will better remember, the process is quite simple. Simply follow the below steps to complete the password change:

  1. Click the button below to Change Your Password
  2. Click Generate Password to show the password change screen
  3. Delete the random text it generates, unless you choose to use that password to login to the site
  4. Enter your desired password in the box labeled "Add Your New Password"
  5. Click Save Changes

Your password is now successfully changed. Be sure to write down or save your password somewhere safe, and if you ever lose or forget your password you can always reset it to something new to regain access to the site. WHY CAN'T I LOGIN TO MEMBERS ONLY?

There are a number of reasons why your account is not able to access the members-only section of the International College of Surgeons website. Basic troubleshooting steps include checking your username, your password, and ensuring your membership is up-to-date in order to load the various features of the site. We recommend:

  1. Clearing the cache on your web browser to ensure it is working properly; PC Magazine has an excellent guide you can follow online
  2. Ensuring you are using the correct email address; the system only recognizes the email we use to send communications so make sure your email is up-to-date
  3. Are you using the correct password? You may need to reset your password to ensure you can login properly
  4. Is your membership still active? If you have lapsed, you will see a membership renewal screen instead of Member Home; be sure to pay any past-due invoices immediately

If you continue to have issues accessing the site, we recommend emailing our technical support department. They will further assist with getting you access to the site.


WHERE IS THE MUSEUM LOCATED?

The International Museum of Surgical Science, a division of the International College of Surgeons (ICS), maintains over 10,000 square feet of public galleries committed to the history of surgery, and an exquisite permanent collection of art and artifacts from the history of Medicine. The Museum supports its Mission through medically themed exhibitions and programs, in addition to a strong contemporary art exhibition program.

Located directly next door to the global headquarters of the International College of Surgeons, you may visit the museum year-round. HOW DO I LOCATE OTHER FELLOWS?

In order to protect your privacy, and to comply with the laws of various regions around the globe where we have members, there is no member directory or listing available to Fellows of the International College of Surgeons. At a future date, we may adopt these features for our members and enable a worldwide directory of your peers, but for now you can only see and update your own membership data in our database. Please feel free to contact us with comments or questions, or have your Section President bring up the topic at the next meeting.


HOW DO I SUBMIT MY CV OR REFERENCES?

If you forgot to submit your CV during your application process, or did not have a digital copy to submit to the College at the time of application, please send an email to Patricia Binfa, Membership Director, with your CV and reference information. HOW DO I REACTIVATE MY MEMBERSHIP?

Members who have allowed their Fellowship to lapse due to nonpayment may contact Jennifer Tran for more information on how to activate their membership. There is no need to reapply to the College, simply contact Jennifer or call us at +1 (312) 642-3555 to rejoin at any time.


HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

To change your email address we have on file, simply follow the below steps to update your records in the Member Home section of our website:

  1. Click the button below to Change Your Email
  2. Enter your new email address in the Account Email field
  3. Click Save Changes

You will receive an email confirming your change within a minute of entering your new email address. You must click the link to activate your new email address before it takes effect. Failure to click the link will prevent your new email address from taking effect! You can also request assistance from our website support team if the above instructions are not clear.

  1. via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover cards)
  2. or via electronic check (must be drawn in US funds from a US bank)


All data is stored in a fully PCI-DSS compliant manner with our credit card processing partner, Authorize.net. To make a payment online, you need only:

  1. Login to icsglobal.org using your email address and password created when you applied
  2. Click the button below to load the payment page
  3. Choose either a Credit Card or Check payment, and enter your account details in the provided fields
  4. Click Check Out to complete the transaction

Once payment is complete, you will receive an email with an updated invoice that marks your application fee as paid-in-full.
