The International College of Surgeons (ICS) is a global organization dedicated to bringing together surgeons and surgical specialists of all nations, races, and creeds to promote surgical excellence for the benefit of all of mankind and to foster fellowship worldwide.

Since 1935, the ICS has been offering quality programs toward this end, such as the following:

• The "International Surgery" journal
• The International Museum of Surgical Science, Chicago, USA
• Surgical Teams, which visit other countries upon request
• Scholarships for surgeon specialty training
• Collaborative projects with W.H.O., the U.N., and other global health care related organizations
